Join the Women of SU for in food distribution at North Helpline Food Bank's location in Lake City. Volunteers are critical to the operations of North Helpline during this time. We will be helping with food distribution, which may include roles to assist with check-in, line direction/greeting, distributing food to clients, helping to stock the distribution lines and assisting clients with carts. Volunteers will be assigned to their positions during the distribution based upon the needs of the food bank. The food bank is not climate controlled so volunteers are advised to wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
At this time, we are asking that anyone exhibiting symptoms of a cold or virus within the last two weeks, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, to not come in. Lastly, please wear closed-toe shoes and warm clothing as our warehouse is not climate-controlled environment.
